How can JA help you accomplish your goals? 

Listed below are a variety of local scholarship opportunities that are available to graduating high school seniors that have participated in Junior Achievement at some point during their school years. To download an application to apply for a scholarship, please click here. 


The Howard N. McIntosh Memorial Award
$500.00 to a student in a Junior Achievement program, who directly as a result of their participation, has developed significantly improved communication skills, poise, self-confidence and competitiveness.  

Qualifications: High School senior enrolled in a Junior Achievement program, completed application, and interview.           

Deadline: June 30, 2008

Peter A. DeCoursey Memorial Award
$500.00 for exceptional leadership ability and enthusiasm to motivate others.

Qualifications: High School senior enrolled in a Junior Achievement program, completed application, advisor recommendation, and interview.  

Deadline: June 30, 2008

Widener University Scholarship
$1,000 for a student attending Widener University School of Business.

Qualifications: High School senior with current or prior participation in a Junior Achievement program, completed application, advisor recommendation, and interview.

Deadline: June 30, 2008

National Scholarships are also available to to JA students and consultants.
