JA Pathway to Your Dreams

Students participating in JA BizTown and JA Finance Park Capstone simulations at the JA Campus in Wilmington explore student-designed Pathway to Your Dreams (PWTYD) suites where they engage with our custom PWTYD app.

On the app, students identify dreams and interests that ultimately connect to 12 High-Demand local job titles with educational requirements, salary information and related Delaware Pathways career programs of study featured in Delaware High Schools.

The resulting keepsake artifact “Certificate of Inquiry” shows all this detail based on the personal selections of each student. In follow-up lessons at school, teachers facilitate a student review of the careers selected by students while accessing details on the Delaware Pathways website.

Student career selection data can also be made available to Middle School Counselors as a basis for conversation around course and Career Pathway selection decisions.

The PWTYD app experience is also available during JA Career Exploration Fairs at the JA Campus and at Delaware Middle Schools. Middle School implementations require Whitelisting/allow-listing and network and/or device provisioning for proprietary PWTYD devices and printers.
