JA Produces Proven Results
The 2024 pilot of JA of Delaware’s new “Pathway to Your Dreams” app showed 53% of pilot participants say the app “helped me identify or express my areas of interest” and the related Certificate of Inquiry “showed me Careers and jobs I did not know before; how much money I can earn in certain jobs”; and, “helped me see Career Pathways I should consider for High School and how much education I need to get.” The University of Delaware Education Research & Development Center, College of Education & Public Policy, conducted an evaluation of JA BizTown involving matched pre and post-testing of 1,861 JA BizTown students. Researchers found statistically significant knowledge gains from the start to the end of the program, with pre-test average score of 8.95 and post-test of 13.73. A KPMG nationwide study of JA Finance Park showed that 24% of Delaware students who said they were "unlikely to graduate from a 2-year college" before their JA Finance Park experience changed their response to "LIKELY" while they were at JA Finance Park!
