Career Exploration Workshop & Employability Skills Internships

New Castle County residents ages 18-25 are eligible to participate in a half day Career Workshop with Junior Achievement. Candidates successfully completing the program may apply for paid Employability Skills Internships.

Status: Part-Time, Hourly

Impact

Workshop participants:
- explore their interests, assets and priorities
-meet and learn from volunteers representing local employers
- learn about Internship Opportunities.

Internship participants sharpen their own employability skills while coaching younger Delawareans as they create the skillsets and mindsets to build thriving communities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support JA BizTown and JA Finance Park students as they explore careers and chart a course to their High School Career Pathway. Assist with other general duties as needed.

Qualifications (required)

18-25 years of age
New Castle County, DE resident
Eligible to work in the United States
DE JobLink Profile must be completed (at the workshop or before the workshop)
Males must be Registered with Selective Service
