New Castle County residents ages 18-25 are eligible to participate in the A PROMISE of Meaningful Work program with Junior Achievement. Candidates successfully completing the program may apply for Work-Based Learning Internships.

Title: Work-Based Learning Internships
Area: Junior Achievement of Delaware
Reports to: Rob Eppes, President
Status: Part-Time, Hourly

Impact

Interns sharpen their own employability skills while coaching younger Delawareans as they create the skillsets and mindsets to build thriving communities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support JA BizTown and JA Finance Park students as they explore careers and chart a course to their High School Career Pathway.

Qualifications (required)

18-25 years of age
New Castle County, DE resident
Successful completion of the A PROMISE of Meaningful Work program to include:
- A PROMISE of Personal Innovation workshop;
- Train-The-Trainer Sessions #1 and #2
Participation in at least one of three community social events:
- Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame
- JA Boo-A-Thon
- JA Fall Fair
