and where, on the 50th anniversary of The Declaration of Independence, he took his last breath
just a few hours before John Adams also died.
Pay respects at the Burial Ground for Enslaved People and at the new Contemplative Site to honor their memory and their contributions to Mr. Jeffersons life, liberty and pursuit of happiness that enabled his ability to become the author of The Declaration of Independence.
