Volunteers, we are so happy that you will be volunteering with Junior Achievement of Delaware!

Please follow these steps to prepare for your visit:

Step 1: Please CLICK HERE to complete the JA BizTown Volunteer Profile Form.

Step 2: Prior to your visit to JA BizTown, please review the following videos.

The first of the three orientation videos for JA BizTown is a ten-minute video focusing on how volunteers engage with students during a business start-up including an essential "to-do list" and examples of ways to help effectively direct student activity:

JA BizTown Module 1

The next six-minute video focuses on the central portion of the day, illustrating the timeline for student workflow, break schedules, visits to the JA BizTown bank, and business meetings.

JA BizTown Module 2

The final video in this series (six minutes in length) focuses on the last part of the simulation visit; from the final student shopping opportunity to business clean up and dismissal.

JA BizTown Module 3

Step 3: Plan to arrive at the JA of Delaware’s facility one hour prior to the students’ arrival for volunteer orientation. Come prepared to have fun and to make a difference as you serve as a local role model for students at JA BizTown!
